Background:

Many of you may not know this, but within WoW you can build and customize your own programs to enhance gameplay. Some WoWers have created "AddOns" or modules that you can download from the web to assist you during gameplay. Theses "AddOns" are encouraged by WoW, and are not in any way viewed as cheating.

Using AddOns in WoW

In order to take advantage of addons, you must:

1. View the links for various AddOns Provided below
2. Click the link of the AddOn, you will be asked if you would like to download the file
3. Download the file to your desktop
4. Extract the files (if the files are zipped) or copy the files to your "C:\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns"directory
5. You will have the ability to click the "AddOns" button in the lower left hand corner of the Character Selection screen
6. Select your character and continue
7. Select the checkboxes for the AddOns you wish to use, some experimenting is required
8. Some AddOns come with instructions, review the instructions as necessary
